Influencer marketing agencies in Paris fall into three types: matchmaking platforms, campaign management agencies and creative or strategy agencies. They are paid through fixed fees, a commission on creator fees or a monthly retainer. For a small budget, simple product seeding or creators you have already identified, an agency is often unnecessary.
Searching for an influencer marketing agency in France mostly returns rankings and directories of agencies. They give names, not decision criteria. For a brand based outside France that wants to work with French profiles, the useful questions come first: which model to buy, what it costs, and when to handle the relationship directly.
Three agency models
"Agency" covers very different jobs. Mixing them up means paying for strategy when you needed contacts, or the other way round.
Matchmaking platforms and directories
They give access to a database of profiles, with filters such as audience, city and topic, and a way to contact them. The brand chooses, negotiates and manages the collaboration itself. They earn money in one of three ways: a subscription paid by the brand, a commission taken on each collaboration, or a subscription paid by the profiles, in which case access is free for brands. This model suits teams with internal time and a clear brief, and it is the most direct route to French creators for a brand that has no local network yet.
Campaign management agencies
They shortlist profiles, negotiate fees, write the brief, ship products, approve content before it goes live and report on results. They are usually paid through a commission on the creator budget or a fixed management fee per campaign. For a foreign brand, the practical value is often local: French-speaking contact with creators, shipping within France and familiarity with local rates.
Creative and strategy agencies
They work upstream: positioning, campaign concept, platform mix, and how influence fits with paid media and PR. Execution is handled in house or passed on to a partner. They bill fees, often as a monthly retainer over several months. They make sense for a market launch or for a brand building influence into a permanent channel in France.

What an influencer marketing agency costs
There is no public rate card for agencies in France. The data that does exist gives orders of magnitude, and should be read carefully.
In the United States, an ANA (Association of National Advertisers) survey reported by MediaPost (2026) found that on average 30% of influencer spend goes to agencies and 70% to influencers. The same study, covered by Marketing Dive (2026), found that only 51% of marketers have full clarity on what is actually paid to influencers.
In France, the agency project budgets collected by La Fabrique du Net (2026) show that fewer than one project in ten sits below €10,000. The same source notes that declared amounts sometimes include creator fees and sometimes do not, and recommends asking for two separate lines: agency fees and creator fees.
Quotes generally follow one of three structures: Whatever the structure, the question is the same: how much of the budget actually reaches the creators. For a full cost estimate including creator fees, see our article on influencer campaign costs in 2026.
Six questions to ask before signing
A quote does not tell you everything. These six questions make two agencies comparable on what matters over time.

When you do not need an agency
An agency saves time and brings method. In three situations, it mainly adds cost.
In these cases, brands can contact the influence profiles listed in the Shaare Agency directory directly, for free and with no commission. Profiles pay a subscription to be listed; the brand only pays what it agrees with them. To weigh smaller against larger accounts, see our article on micro vs macro influencers.
The diagram below sums up the decision using three variables: budget, number of creators and internal time.

In practice, a budget under €10,000 points to direct contact. Above that, internal time decides: a team that can manage a few creators uses a platform, a team that wants to activate many without dedicated staff uses a campaign management agency. A creative agency is for brands that need a concept, not just execution.
How Shaare works on influence
For brands that prefer to delegate, Shaare Agency offers influence and social media services from Paris, based on the second model: campaign management.
UGC content, made for the brand to post on its own channels, starts at €50 per video. The full process is described in our article on turnkey influencer campaign management.
If you are weighing direct contact against delegation, describe your project and budget on our contact page. We will tell you which model fits, including when it is not ours.
